This beautiful little boy was born on his due date which also happened to be his daddy’s birthday! Can you think of a better birthday gift? I sure can’t. He was amazing. He slept through the entire session and let us move and pose him as we wished! I wish all newborn sessions were this easy! Daddy had a ton of baseball stuff for him including a mitt, a ball, and some adorable sneakers and a hat! Mommy had a little bit of a difficult delivery so she asked not to be photographed but we managed to get this amazing photo of him in his daddy’s hands. You sure are a cutie little Jonah!

This amazing maternity session took place just days after the baby shower and Mom-to-be was spoiled rotten! The weather was kind of icky and we were debating whether or not to cancel and try again another day but the lighting was beautiful so somehow I convinced her to not only come, but to climb in a lake! This precious little angel belongs to a spinning (yarn that is!) friend of mine.. he’s just barely over a week old in these photos and was just as cute as can be! This was the first time I got to meet the daddy as well and he was really entertaining! Imagine my surprise when I found out that Daddy hates peas and I had just finished making that adorable little pea pod prop! Mommy & Grandma insisted we use it since it was so ironic! The white blanket he is photographed on belonged to the Grandmother when Mommy was a baby, and the blue hat he is wearing.. Mommy hand spun the yarn and knit that cap for him to wear home from the hospital. I had a wonderful time meeting you C. You sure are an adorable little boy!

I hope this year the Easter bunny brought you all kinds of sweet treats! We enjoyed the warm weather he brought us and had a BBQ outside. We ate lots of really delicious food, sweets, and just spent the day enjoying each other’s company. We’ve been having high 70-80 degree weather which is nearly unheard of in April in Michigan! Then today I had a quick mini session with this little cutie! 4months old and enjoying his first Easter… but what he really wanted was a nap!

Times are tough and no one knows that more than I do. I have several family members who were greatly impacted by the automotive industry crash and many are out of work as a result… and I know that many of you across the country are also feeling the effects of this.. so I am here to give the beautiful people of Michigan a little relief! I am dedicated to making 2010 something we can all smile about.. something we can look back and remember with fondness.. so with that I am slashing my session fees from $150 down to $75 per hour.

Yes, in half. You read that right! As a result, I am also keeping print prices down. There are no packages you have to buy to get this deal.. you still decide what and how many prints and products that you purchase.. the only difference is the price of the session fee. This applies from everything to portraits to boudoir sessions. Everything. You still get all of your proofs hosted on a password protected website, you still get the same amount of service.. hopefully, at a more affordable price for those of you looking for a little relief!
